Steven Chen's drum cover of August Burns Red's song, White Washed. I have been playing drumset for about two years and four months now. I have an IMMENSE respect for Matt Greiner (the original drummer) and his songwriting and endurance. The ideas that this band comes up with are just unbelievable, and having the opportunity to see them at the Boston house of blues was SUCH a great treat. I'm aware that some parts of this song (particularly the blasting) are a bit unclear, partially due to the room I recorded in - literally a small metal box, and partially because I'm not very good at blast beats... But I tried, and this is the result. Also the dangling thing on the top right corner of the overhead camera angle is the wrist strap that I forgot to remove from the camera when I taped it to the ceiling... I'll make a note of that next time haha :P. This is also the first video I've made that I've used my new Yamaha Steve Jordan signature snare. Please comment, rate, and subscribe!
